The plan currently under review by the county is for a facility to be called the Pecan Tree Solar Energy Center, proposed for a 762-acre site stretching from E.M. White Road to Davis Road along Walton County Road 0605 south of Paxton and east of U.S. Highway 331.
DeFUNIAK SPRINGS — It will be at least another month before Walton County officials make a decision on whether Florida Power & Light’s (FP&L) plan for a solar power generation facility on more than 700 acres in the north end of the county can move forward.
